From Charlotte to Columbia to Delmarva to Montgomery to Potomac to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and beyond, a lot of Minor League teams are staging 25th Anniversary Sandlot promotions during the 2018 season.

But there’s one team that has gone above the rest with their Sandlot endeavors. That team is the Richmond Flying Squirrels, who are staging five separate Sandlot promos. Let’s take a look at this upcoming Squintuplet, which is part of the the team’s full-to-bursting 2018 promo schedule.

Salute to The Sandlot #1, April 16
It’s also “Bark in the Park Night,” and the first 1000 fans get a Babe Ruth baseball, “slightly chewed by The Beast.”

Salute to The Sandlot #2, May 7
Once again, it’s “Bark in the Park Night.” This time around, the first 500 dog owners receive a “The Beast Dog Bowl.”

Salute to The Sandlot #3, June 22
On this Friday evening, the first 1500 fans 15 and over receive a “Benny the Jet 3/4 Sleeve” shirt. In an apparently unrelated development, the Flying Squirrels are also staging a tribute to onion rings.

Salute to The Sandlot #4, August 20
After nearly two agonizing months without a Sandlot promo, the Flying Squirrels once again honor The Beast. 1500 bobbleheads will be distributed to the first 1,000 fans 15 and over.

Salute to The Sandlot #5, August 30
Chauncey Leopardi — a.k.a. Squints — will be at the ballpark. That evening’s ballgame will be followed by “In Your Face Fireworks,” so you definitely won’t have to squint to see them.

In related news, I still have not seen The Sandlot.
